Bird is a freelance graphic designer & illustrator. With each project, they bring over a decade of experience from across many sectors of the creative industry.

Their work is focused on liberation for both nonhuman and human species. They love to work with sanctuaries to create art featuring their residents that can help raise awareness while also raising funds for their care. Portraiture and clever word play are two of Bird’s favorite things!

Before finding their niche in the sanctuary world, Bird has worked as a fine artist, mural artist, curatorial assistant, pet product designer, graphic designer and more. Their work has traversed all over from gallery walls to the sides of downtown buildings to private homes to the shelves of large retail stores.

When not creating, Bird is likely caring for animals. They share their life with their senior dog companion, Bear, and the Perch Potatoes: a microsanctuary currently home to two chickens, Cluckey and Peppy. Bird has been living and volunteering at sanctuaries for several years.
